Brian Slaughter has been elected to the Board of Directors of Horizon Hampton Roads, Inc., a local, 501(c )(3) non-profit organization formed in 1999, to provide children and families of limited income with a private school education during the summer months at partner schools across Hampton Roads. This program was adopted from the Horizons Student Enrichment Program, started 40 years ago in New Canaan, Connecticut, of which HHR is an affiliate.
