Brian Slaughter has succeeded in defending a local realty company in one of the many lawsuits filed in the Tidewater area resulting from the installation of allegedly-defective Chinese drywall. Suffolk Circuit Judge Rodham T. Delk sustained the demurrers filed in behalf of Rose & Womble Realty, and argued before the Court, dismissing the Plaintiffs' Complaint in its entirety as to the realtor. This is a rare win for the defendants in this protracted litigation, which takes place both here in Virginia and in Federal court in New Orleans, Louisiana.
