LORI L. KING
Lori King is the most recent addition to McKenry, Dancigers, Dawson & Lake rounding out the number of attorneys to twelve. She grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but graduated from high school just south of Memphis, Tennessee in North Mississippi. She is licensed to practice law in Virginia and Tennessee.
She attended Louisiana State University where she graduated with honors with her Bachelor’s degree in English. While at LSU, Lori was heavily involved in multiple campus organizations and activities such as Zeta Tau Alpha, Up ‘Til Dawn at LSU benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Center for Academic Success. Her involvement earned her many of awards including a place in LSU’s Hall of Fame for the most influential seniors, the Tiger Twelve.
Lori attended law school at the University of Mississippi in picturesque Oxford, Mississippi. In law school, Lori competed in multiple moot court trial competitions and was elected as the Moot Court Board’s trial advocacy competitions chairman. Lori spent her first summer in law school at Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc. and her second summer as an intern at the Virginia Beach Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney where she work primarily on the domestic relations and juvenile trial teams. In her third year, Lori participated the National Center for Justice and the Rule of Law’s Prosecutorial Externship program where she was placed at the US Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Tennessee located in Memphis, Tennessee.
Lori joins MDDL under Tina Babcock in the Subrogation department. She predominately handles insurance and breach of contract litigation matters throughout the entire state of Virginia.
